Portrait photography is about capturing the essence, personality, identity, and attitude of a person. This can be done in a studio or out in the big wide world. The Objective is to capture a photo that appears natural and allow the subject’s personality to shine through.

For me, the challenge is to make a connection with the subject so they are at ease in allowing me to capture those brief special moments in time.
